Born Yin was born out of a profound commitment to guiding individuals towards holistic wellness, whether through Yin & Yang Yoga, wellness coaching, community connection or any out-of-the-box means necessary.
My own journey has woven through diverse landscapes, from 12 years of living in China to eight years in Berlin, to the comforting familiarity of New England and the Pacific Northwest. Forests of pine trees, Atlantic seascapes, karst limestones along the Li River - all of these are home for me. My worldly experiences have imbued my yoga teaching and health coaching with a rich tapestry of global influences, enhancing my offerings for and bringing compassion to the people who walk in through the studio doors.
Amongst my teachers are Sarah & Ty Powers (Insight Yoga) and Lorraine Aronson (Yoga 109), a number of experts through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, authors of profound books, entheogen guides, Vipassana teachers, trusting clients and students, loving friends, authentically supportive family and my dearest life partner. I am here living the life that I love because of all of you.
Beyond the mat, I find joy in writing, nurturing my four children, supporting others in plant medicine integration, exploring new horizons, speaking Mandarin, and crafting culinary delights.
