Welcome to the serene world of Yin Yoga, where stillness meets deep stretching, and tranquility envelops the soul. Yin practice invites you to explore the profound benefits of slow-paced, mindful movement and prolonged poses. Unlike other dynamic yoga styles, Yin Yoga encourages you to surrender to the present moment, allowing gravity to gently guide you into stretches that target the body’s deepest layers of connective tissues, joints, and muscles.

This type of yoga is based in meridian theory of Chinese Traditional Medicine. Throughout the time on the mat, attention will be brought to the energy lines and corresponding organs and emotional flavors that relate to the balancing of one’s body and mind by holding the deeper stretches in a safe and supported way.

It’s a practice of patience and introspection, where each pose becomes a meditative journey.

With the support of props and guided breathwork, you’ll unlock the secrets of enhanced flexibility, improved joint mobility, stress relief, and heightened self-awareness. Yang to Yin Yoga – A Practice of Balance

 

In this class, we move through a mix of gentle flow and stillness. We begin with a light but energizing Yang sequence to warm the body and connect with the breath. Through mindful movement, you’re invited to arrive, feel, and connect.

 

After that, we shift into the quiet and calm of Yin Yoga. In longer-held shapes, we take time to settle, soften, and turn inward.

 

This practice is about balance—between movement and rest, effort and ease. Open to all levels, this class is a space to move with intention, pause with curiosity, and reconnect with yourself.

This dynamic Vinyasa Flow is designed to awaken your body, clear your mind, and leave you feeling both strong and centered.

In Petra’s Yoga Foundations Class, both beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome. Together we explore the fundamental alignment of different asanas (yoga postures), with the breath guiding you through the practice. Along the way, we observe the effects of the postures on body and mind, find calm and mental clarity, and build strength and flexibility. This creates a solid foundation that gently introduces newcomers and allows more experienced students to deepen their practice.
This Foundations Class supports you in developing a balanced and profound yoga practice.

In Petras Yoga Foundations-Klasse sind sowohl Einsteiger*innen als auch erfahrene Yogis willkommen. Gemeinsam erkunden wir die grundlegende Ausrichtung verschiedener Asanas (Yogahaltungen), während dich dein Atem durch die Praxis leitet. Dabei erforschen wir die Wirkung der Haltungen auf Körper und Geist, finden Ruhe und mentale Klarheit und stärken zugleich den Körper durch Dehnung und Kräftigung. So entsteht eine stabile Basis, die Anfänger sanft einführt und Geübten hilft, ihre Praxis zu vertiefen.
Die Foundations-Klasse unterstützt dich dabei, eine ausgewogene und zugleich tiefgehende Yogapraxis zu entwickeln.

Around midday, mental stress and long hours of sitting often bring the first signs of fatigue and tension. In Petra’s Lunchbreak Class, the breath guides you through a well-balanced sequence of dynamic movements and longer-held asanas (yoga postures). Through the practice, you arrive in the present, ease stress and tension, and restore fresh energy for the rest of your day.

Open to everyone who enjoys a gentle yet invigorating Hatha Flow practice – beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

Zur Mittagszeit zeigen sich durch mentalen Stress und langes Sitzen oft erste Ermüdung und Verspannungen. In Petras Lunchbreak-Klasse leitet dich der Atem durch eine ausgewogene Abfolge dynamischer Bewegungen und länger gehaltener Asanas (Yogahaltungen). Durch die Praxis kommst du ins Hier und Jetzt, baust Stress ab, löst Verspannungen und gewinnst neue Energie für den Rest des Tages.
Geeignet für alle, die eine sanfte, zugleich fordernde Hatha-Flow-Klasse suchen – Anfänger sowie Fortgeschrittene willkommen!

This class is a gentle and balanced practice designed to harmonize body and mind through physical postures (asanas), mindful breathing (pranayama), and relaxation. Held at a calm and unrushed time of the weekend, the class focuses on building strength, improving flexibility, and cultivating awareness. It offers participants a peaceful start to the day, helping them release the stress of the week and set a grounded, energized tone for the rest of the day.

Sound Bath Aroma is a soothing and relaxing experience. We begin to connect with our breath and body before lying down to experience the sound bath. The sound and vibrations of the handcrafted Tibetan singing bowls promotes deeper relaxation, releases tension and helps create more harmony with body and mind. 

Enjoy the time for yourself to simply relax and receive. 

It’s an inclusive practice where all genders are welcome. 

It’s recommended to not attend for people who have metal implants, severe mental health conditions, epilepsy, acute anxiety. 

Please wear comfortable, warm clothing and extra socks because during the practice you might feel a little cold.
